What this is:
Every year at Lotusphere, somebody gripes about how they can't get "normal" items without having to get a cab or borrow a ride with someone out to normal civilization, so they go without or spend a small fortune at the expensive, limited little convenience stores in some of the hotels. And forget trying to find beer or other interesting beverages, or personal care items.
Well, this year we're organizing a beer/grocery/stuff run on Sunday so that if you need something, you can get it without too much hassle. See the Talk board for more information.
Don't worry, none of your personal information will appear on the web. | Here's what happens:
- You post here
- You'll get an email in a few minutes confirming your request
- We'll contact you when we're all down in Orlando (please check your room or cellphone voicemail in case you miss us).
- This is limited to people staying in the four major Lotusphere hotels (Dolphin/Swan/Y&B/Boardwalk).
- You'll need to pick up your stuff (and settle up) at Dolphin or Swan
- We will not be adding any service surcharge, just pay up for the stuff.
- US Cash only (come on, this is a nice friendly service here).
- Any questions? Either email me at turtle@fred.net or when we all get down there, call me (Scott Wenzel, The Turtle) at the Dolphin after 3:00pm on Saturday.
- Any unclaimed stuff will be eaten.
