The Shadowcasters pride themselves in their performances, of their "rockin blues". Their practices take place at the Feed Barn Cafe in Melrose, NM, thanks to Darrel Roberts. The band's goals include getting othes to enjoy the blues, playing throughout eastern New Mexico and northern Texas. The band members are: Greg Zurzolo, Lead Singer; Larry Noia, Lead Guitar, backup vocals; Jeff Johnson, Drums, backup vocals; and Lars Nydam, Bass Guitar. Currently the band is working on getting their first CD completed, which will include some originals written by different band members, plus their versions of songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Robben Ford, Albert Collins, Muddy Water, Johnny Winters, Johnny Lang and many more.
