The Potomac Blues Society's Freedom Blues Fest 2001 featuring the Maryland State Chili Championship Cook-Off and Maryland State Micro-Brewers will be held at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club Picnic Grounds on August 24, 25 & 26, 2001. Blues, Jazz Zydeco & Gospel music from 2 stages, the Maryland Stage featuring entertainers from accross the state of Maryland and a National stage featuring entertainment from accross the Country. Food & craft vendors plus an All Maryland Micro-Brew Beer Garden. Also, childrens activity tent with workshops, a blues history, the Miss Chili Pepper Contest, 5K Run & 2K Walk and Chili Cook-Off.
