Lunch

The ribs were great, the macaroni and cheese was great, the spicy chicken was bad, the cornbread had no flavor, and the beans will be extremely unpleasant if you're sitting next to some people at sessions this afternoon.

So that was lunch.

My last-year swan boat partner, Bill Malchisky, and I did our time trial in the electric boat. Sorta sucked, we might not make the next round, but we both agreed with it was better last year with the pedal boats. It was quieter... this year one does not sound like you're washing clothes. But the physical challenge of it was cool, much better than the randomness of "did we get a fast boat?"

It's an actual official Lotusphere event this year, BTW. Thanks, Sandra! And thanks Warren and Kitty for putting it together. I still have last year's air horn in my car (the VW's horn doesn't work, so it's useful).

This afternoon I have a couple of sessions to check out, some photos to post, other things. If you look on Flickr, make sure you search for "lotusphere2008" tagged photos. There will be lots of them, and I of course will add to the mess there and on YouTube.
