Using the park hours as an indicator doesn't help much (or at least doesn't lead to a favorable conclusion).

The Magic Kingdom closes (to the public) at 8PM and Disney-MGM Studios closes at 7PM. While it is possible that they could start the party at, say, 7:30 PM at Disney-MGM Studios, it seems unlikely. They have, in the past, closed Disney-MGM Studios at 6PM on nights when the Lotusphere party was there.

Note that there is an Epcot option, which is used quite often by other companies, but has yet to be used by IBM for Lotusphere: A buffet dinner in the old Millenium pavillion, followed by a cordoned-off viewing of Illuminations in the France portion of the World Showcase.
