I registered the first day it opened at Lotusphere 2005. I'm not sure if you can register ahead of time. I doubt it. If you can, take advantage of the practice tests that are available in the lab. I scheduled my test for the end of the week. I popped in the lab every time I had a few extra minutes and took the practice exam that I didn't already own. It helped.
