I got in tonight after being swarmed by the little wabbies, and this was in my inbox. You Sphereians certainly got this, too. Here was the first paragraph:
Thanks for attending Lotusphere® this year. We hope you were energized by our new programs and announcements, including the Global Business Excellence Forum, Track Keynotes, the IBM Collaboration Agenda approach, new mobile offerings and a look into the future with IBM's Project Vulcan.
Jeez, I felt stupid. Thank ME for attending Lotusphere? WTF? Without a thought, I sent this back, not even wondering if that was sent from one of those "this email address is not monitored" accounts:
Are you kidding?
Thanks for HAVING US all these years! I mean, we come in, raise hell, mess up the carpets, ask difficult questions, run up your expense accounts and scare the tourist.
Yet, you still keep having us back.
This was my sixteenth Lotusphere. I can't think of anything in my whole life I've done sixteen times, not even change the oil in my venerable Saabs or my VW TDI diesel driving down there.
But I've been coming to Orlando in January to get my fix.
So, thanks. Hold your heads up. If it sucked, we all wouldn't keep doing it. If we didn't believe, we wouldn't keep carrying that torch. And you know it.

Lotus Knows we like a good Conference (err...Party). It was great seeing you again this year!
